🌟 Student Journey: Bradley’s Path to Employment Success 🌟

Placement: Eastbrook end Country Park Tea Room

Bradley joined the Supported Internship programme with a quiet determination to gain work experience and grow in confidence. From day one at the Eastbrookend Country Park Tea Room, Bradley embraced the opportunity to learn new skills in a real working environment.Throughout his placement, Bradley took on a variety of responsibilities including food preparation, customer service, clearing tables, operating the till, and maintaining hygiene standards. He adapted quickly to routines and built positive working relationships with both staff and customers. As the internship progressed, Bradley showed a growing sense of independence. He began to take initiative during busy periods, followed health and safety procedures carefully, and developed excellent communication skills. His teamwork and reliability became a key part of the tea room’s daily operations. Bradley has now completed his supported internship and has gained the confidence and practical skills he needs to take his next step: paid employment. He leaves the programme not only with workplace experience, but also with a sense of pride and achievement. We are incredibly proud of Bradley’s progress and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!
